Mold and Meth leave their own destructive paths. IHESS Provides Realistic Solutions for the Real World

Mold has been a long-time recognized cause or issue pertaining to indoor air quality and personal health.  Now, to make matters worse, use of methamphetamine or METH is approaching epidemic proportions in our communities.

While large variances in building science and the push towards LEEDS and Green Building  (for which IHESS also provides guidance and consultation) have created unique and ongoing moisture control and air quality issues, Meth seems to also have a negative stack effect.  Both mold and meth residues provide their own level of persistence with neither going away on their own.  Mold will stop and grow as moisture and nutrients provide, and Meth's toxic by-products may persist from cooking or smoking, or even after even prudent cleaning, unbeknownst to even the most savvy landlord, tenant, or homeowner.

Every home has at least some naturally occurring presence of mold, but Meth?  Even with normal cleaning methods and painting toxic by-products may still be detected. Having good knowledge and the resources of competent Environmental firm like IHESS can make all of the difference. We look at root causes, multipliers, and the individual, providing the best service available for all your health and safety needs.
